| The Primac® Production Module is designed to produce an efficient,
accurate database from which estimates created in the
Job Estimating System (JES) can be turned into orders
or "Job Jackets" and then be scheduled for production
on the shop floor. Job cost information can be collected
throughout the entire production process, and inventory
can be identified and accounted for when used on the job.
The Shop Floor Information System (SFIS) allows the
collection of data through numerical entry pads, wands,
or touch screens. The Job Ticket Framework (JTF) allows
the user to create Job Jacket standards to meet the
firm's specific needs.
Information flows from SFIS and JES to the rest of
Primac® , instantly updating files. This allows users
throughout the network to have real-time information
as allowed through the set-up process in the module
maintenance files.
Primac® Production is a fully table-driven system. This
means that you define and assign all the values pertinent
to your operations. You set the software tables to react
to your specific environment and offer true enterprise
modeling.
