Features
-
Permits your staff to define major lines, product
lines, items, warehouses, and locations. Consignment
stock and finished goods can all be tracked.
-
Posts all inventory receipt transactions in real-time
and makes them immediately viewable throughout the
entire network.
-
Allows users to create virtually an unlimited
number of warehouses and locations. By utilizing
alpha/numeric four character fields, the user can
stock inventory with "intelligent" coding
throughout a single warehouse via location or across
multiple warehouses.
-
Enables the user to forecast inventory needs,
via data tracking, based on future raw material
consumption for booked jobs. This historical data
is easily exported to Windows®-based applications,
such as Microsoft® Excel ®, for mathematical
trending and forecasting.
-
Allows full material accountability for three
levels: direct factory overhead, fixed factory overhead,
and variable factory overhead. This material accountability
goes to the cost center level.
-
Supports inventory tracking by location, by movement,
and by shipment of consigned goods, semi-finished
products, and finished goods.
-
Tracks individual rolls and skids from their time
of receipt into the warehouse, to point of transfer
within the plant, through consumption in the pressroom.
-
Allows the user to define the costing method by
which inventory is received into the warehouse -
FIFO, LIFO, average, standard, list, last, or actual.
-
Allows raw materials to be made available to the
general company or to only specific warehouses and
plants.
-
Allows the user to search inventory for paper
items by approximate size. The user can search inventory
by entering a base size and a plus/minus variance.
-
Provides real-time data about all inventory on-hand,
available, in-process (posted to WIP), reserved,
and on-order. These items are shown for all
locations, or by warehouse by location.
Users can view additional detail by drilling down
to see individual locations, specific rolls, jobs,
receipts, historical usage patterns, purchase orders,
etc.
-
Tracks partially used rolls and slit rolls. All
partially used rolls can be evaluated and received
back into inventory. This allows the system to update
quantity on-hand for an individual roll that has
been either slit or partially used.
-
Tracks the life of a roll after slitting it into
several sub-rolls, with auto-generation of the sub-roll
records and linkage to the original master roll.
Allows users to reserve any on-hand paper units.
-
Makes the physical inventory counting process
much more efficient and accurate. The system's division
by warehouse allows the customer to take cyclical
inventory counts without having to freeze the warehouse.
The system prints out a physical inventory sheet
with stock items but without quantity. It is up
to the user to provide the correct amounts and to
cross check those amounts against the amounts in
the system.

The Inventory Control System provides a user-definable
account classification and category code structure.
The system is structured to handle the corporation with
multiple companies and divisions. This user-defined
tracking level easily accommodates both small and large
companies.
