The Primac® Executive Tools Module was created to fill a void common to most business management systems for the printing industry. These tools provide the summarization sought by management - sales, finance, production, operations, materials management, purchasing, customer service, and top executives. These tools provide the ability to monitor activity and trends quickly to spot areas that need attention and that are outside established goals.
The Explorer System is a collection of inquiry tools spanning all existing Primac® modules. The Executive Analyst System presents current data from Primac® 's fully integrated relational database. However, executive users see summaries of detailed information presented to front-line employees.
The Primac® Executive Tools Module is fully table-driven system. This means that users can define and assign all the values to fit their operations and to meet their unique business needs. The software data tables are created and tailored to react to the user's specific environment and to offer true enterprise modeling. In addition, these systems offer the user the flexibility to set the depth of data retention stored. This provides the end-user with four-level, drill-down capability - the user can drill down to see data at the company, division, department, and cost center levels.
Primac® 's MITS Business Intelligence module and its associated Job Cost and Sales Analysis OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing) hypercubes provide a powerful Business Intelligence and interactive Analytical Analysis tool for managers and executives at Primac® installations. Data is extracted from Primac® files nightly (or more frequently as needed) and placed into the OLAP hypercubes, where it can be accessed, viewed, and mined by end users. |
