Order Processing System (OPS)

Order Processing System provides the ability for printers who produce, stock and distribute finished goods products as a “Just in Time” service for their customers. These are most likely to be sheet or self adhesive label or carton converters, forms printers, book printers and printers who produce documentation, price or parts books. Many general commercial printers have added fulfillment services and can make good use of OPS. Each item is defined as a finished goods inventory item.

OPS is flexible: it can handle a simple one item, one customer PO order; or process complex orders involving many ship to locations, many items, and customer PO’s with releases. It is also very helpful for printers and converters who do a lot of repeat or repeat with change printing, even if they do not normally stock the item in finished goods.
